Short Sale a San Diego Home

With the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act and the government sponsored program HAFA Short Sale expiring December 31, 2012, many distress San Diego homeowners are considering doing a HAFA Short Sale. Deciding to do a HAFA Short Sale is a difficult decision considering there are other options to save the home such as a Loan Modification, HARP 2.0 and more. If a distress homeowner decides to do one of the other options besides a HAFA Short Sale and gets denied that other option, the homeowner may not have enough time to do a HAFA Short Sale to meet the December 31, 2012 deadline.
