Kimball Junction area in Park City Utah

The Kimball Junction area is a fairly new area in Park City just a short drive to the ski lifts.  Many enjoy living here full time or part time because of the great value in real estate.   The Redstone shopping Center at Kimball Junction also offers some great shopping with several wonderful restaurants and a movie theater.  

A majority of the construction in the Kimball Junction area is fairly new with more modern finishes at a great price compared to the condos at the ski resort village areas.   In 2006 the average sold price for a condo at Deer Valley Resort was $1,388,741.  In the Old town area of Park City and near the Park City Mountain Resort the average sold price for a condo in 2006 was $532,418.  In the ski village area of the Canyons Resort the average sold price for a condo in 2006 was $444,719.   The average 2006 sold price for a condo in the Kimball Junction area was only $319,639.   So you can get more for your money if you don't mind a short drive to the ski resort.

The Park City area also offers a terrific free bus system with many bus stops scattered throughout the Kimball Junction neighborhoods and Park City area.  So you can also hop on the free bus for a ride up to the local Park City area ski resorts (Deer Valley, Park City Mountain Resort & The Canyons Resort) or to shop on Park City's Main Street area.
