What are condos and homes selling for in comparison to there actual list price in the Myrtle Beach area?

This is a question I think a lot of buyers need to ask before they make an offer, or start looking for property. So many buyers think that they can buy a house or condo in the Myrtle Beach area for much less than the asking price. Although there are some homes and condos sold for much less than the list price, that is not always the case. Price your house or condo properly and it will receive many showing even with the challenges in today’s market.

In the last 60 days there has been over 600 houses sold in the Myrtle Beach area, these homes sold for an average of 93% of the list price.  This is the list price when the property receives an offer or contract, if may not be the original list price of the property.
In the last 60 days there have been just over 500 condos sold in the Myrtle Beach area, these condos sold for an average of 90% of the list price.
Both condos and houses will receive many showings and will receive offers if they are listed and priced competitively. Different areas along the Grand Strand are more sought after than others, these are just the averages taken from both Horry and Georgetown County.
