Sales of all home types in Piney Orchard remained stable this month as compared to August 2008. While the average sales price appears to have increased, that is primarily due to the sale of two large single family homes and one super luxury townhome that sold over $430,000. One of those homes that settled at $600,000 was last sold in 2005 for $594,000. A good sign that prices may be stabilizing but no overall increase. Here is the latest round up of Piney Orchard Sales data for July 2009. Not a stellar month with declines in both average sales price and number of homes sold. All in all though the houses that are priced well and in good condition are selling much less than the 96 day average. We've also been better insulated than some surrounding neighborhoods when it comes to foreclosures and short sales.
