Protect wildlife in Costa Rica

We see it so many times. A hot new spot gets discovered, developers are moving in and next thing we know, the place looks ugly and everything that has once made that place so pleasant, gets destroyed. We have seen this in many parts of Costa Rica. Jaco, Quepos, Tamarindo ... those are places I don´t ever want to be. The hot new market is the Nicoya Peninsula. The Nicoya Peninsula still has nature, jungle, endless beaches and whatever else gets people to want to live here. Our Costa Rica Real Estate Company is now sponsoring several eco projects to help keep nature natural. The problem is to create space for the many new residents without destroying what has drawn those people in the first place. Green building is the key. You don´t have to destroy nature, you can build around it. I am proud to say that I am a part of the hot new trend in Costa Rica where expats have started to take charge of their new environment. If any of you are interested to find out more, you can contact the Eco preservation Society and ask for Kevin. Help keep the world green by preserving one of the greenest countries on earth and setting an example for the future generations today!

Beautiful photos, Mike. I hate seeing these natural areas destroyed by human encroachment. Hopefully, the green building will help merge the two as best as can be.
