You are logged into the backend of your site and you are on editing the page you want to place an image.

1. Click the Insert Image button .  The Image uploader pop-up window opens.

2. Choose the 'Browse" button to select an image, then click upload.

3. The image is now on the server. Click insert image.

4. The image is now on the page.  You can move it and resize it as you wish.

Linking an Image

To link an image in CMS 1, you will have to switch to html mode by click this button in the editor

1.  You will have to find the image tag in html mode.  It will look something like this:

A common question that arises is "how  do I create a link and place it on a page".  Here is a simple example of how to do this.

I am going to create a link to http://www.realestatewebmasters.com and use the anchor text "Real Estate Website".

1.  In the wysiwyg editor (page content area) type the text you want as your anchor text.

2.  Highlight the text.

3.  Click the  "Insert Link" button

4.  The Insert Link dialog box opens where you enter the destination link (URL).  In this case I entered http://www.realestatewebmasters.com.  In the drop down list you can choose to "open in the same window" or "open in a new window".  make your selection and click "Insert".  Also, make sure that you click  "Save Page" at the bottom of the page you are editing so…

In the CMS 2.0 you have the option to upload documents to our server.  Once your document is on our server, you have the ability to share this file with anyone that is connected to the internet..  You can even add a link to your document on the main navigation of your website or you can send emails that link to  your document.

How to upload a file to the File Manager

Login to to the CMS and put your curser over the "Tools" button -> click ->File Manager

 

 In the File Manager click -> Browse<- and select your your file from its location on your computer.

A common question REW customers ask is, "how do I align an image within text to the left or right of my content once I have inserted it in the CMS"

If you have inserted an image in the wysiwyg editor, and you would like to move it into a paragraph, and have that text wrap around the image, try the following.

Open up the CMS page that you are attempting to adjust, likely your screen will look like this:
