How to upload and link an image in cms 1

1. Click the Insert Image button 
. The Image uploader pop-up window opens.
2. Choose the 'Browse" button to select an image, then click upload.
3. The image is now on the server. Click insert image.
4. The image is now on the page. You can move it and resize it as you wish.
Linking an Image
To link an image in CMS 1, you will have to switch to html mode by click this button in the editor 
1. You will have to find the image tag in html mode. It will look something like this:
<img src="img/example.jpg" align="right" />
2. To link this image, you will have to wrap a link tag (that includes the destination url ) around the image. In this example, I am linking the image to http://realestatewebmasters.com.
Add this code that you see in bold around the image tag:
<a href="http://www.realestatewebmasters.com"><img src ="img/example.jpg" align="right" /></a>
3. Click the "Submit button and test.

Hi Danielle,
I am so glad I found you. I have no problem writing, but the truly artful blogging I see, necessitates some very specific technical skills, which are foriegn to me for the most part. In other words, I am a beginner. So I appreciate there is someone like you to help bloggers. Your entry regarding images is clear, but still somewhat technically new for me, but I don't mind the learning curve. I will watch for your entries and I know I will learn from them.
One thing to pass along, it may help to flesh out the glossary a little more, that would be very helpful for beginners. As an example, the term widget, is posted under gadget, but not widget. I know this is a glossary built from community input, but it would be nice to see more input. Thanks again for the information.
