Hello REW Clients,
REW has been experiencing an incident where a group of computers is generating a high level of traffic to some of our client websites. The servers remain operational, but the high traffic may cause the website to become unreachable. As a result some REW client websites may intermittently become unreachable.
Our server team is diligently working with Rackspace to diagnose the source, and block this activity.
We appreciate your patience as we continue to monitor and address the issue.

UPDATE 10:30 am PST: The Sys Admin Team, working with Rackspace, have implemented some DDOS mitigation that has dramatically reduced the impact of the DDOS activity. Sites that were experiencing issues should be experiencing improved up-time, however the issue is not completely resolved as the attacks continue. should be experiencing improved up-time, however the issue is not completely resolved as the attacks continue.

UPDATE 2:14 pm PST: The DDOS mitigation appears to have stabilized the impacted sites, but the attack is ongoing. We will continue to monitor.

UPDATE 2/24 9 am PST: As of 6pm last night, The Sys Admin Team, working with Rackspace, have managed to quarantine the DDOS attack and traffic on the impacted server is back to normal levels. This means that the impacted sites should be performing as normal.
