REW 2009 Summit - Five Reasons To Go

We have been receiving a lot of interest in the second annual REW Summit.  Many are wondering

  • "what is going to be covered?"
  • "what benefits will I get out of the two day event?"
  • "will I miss out on much if I don't go?"

Tough crowd, tough crowd... insert "semi-colon right bracket" (thanks McDonalds).

Let's work backwards: YES, you will miss out on a lot if you don't make the trip to Vancouver Island and take part in the REW Summit.

Why? Let's keep working backwards.

Five Reasons to Attend the REW 2009 Summit

I will make this as simple as possible and leave the rest up to our members - testimonials will always speak louder than my claims.  Here are the reasons why you can't afford to miss the conference this July:

  1. Actual hands-on learning... facilitated through break-out and networking sessions
  2. Opportunity to increase your confidence... with a focus on Lead generation for your business
  3. Networking, networking, networking... meet people - share knowledge - see success
  4. Access to Morgan and Real Estate Webmasters... head on over to the office, a short walk from the conference
  5. Exclusivity, as only 200 people can attend, period... smaller venue with larger value

In short, we provide the venue and foundation through the scheduled classes and professional insight.  You solidify this information through the break-out sessions and then bring the energy and innovation to the table during the networking sessions.

If that isn't enough for you then grab someone from REW and get down to business.  We also love to have clients stop by the office for a tour and introductions.  It is amazing how much can be accomplished when sitting down with your development team members.

What did last year's attendees have to say?

Take a look at this thread and view some of the comments that our members posted. Carolyn put together a great (and generous) summary...  In fact, the top five reasons listed above all came from attendees that made the trip last year.  None were disappointed and we are looking forward to another successful conference this July.

What Topics Will Be Covered?

IDX data - tapping your resource
presented by Morgan Carey, REW (Class #1 - Day #1 AM)

Building true authority
presented by Eric Blackwell, Eric On Search (Class #2 - Day #1 PM)

Lead Management - new REW 2.0 techniques & technology
presented by Morgan Carey, REW (Class #3 - Day #2 AM)

Search engine optimization intense
presented by Morgan Carey, REW (Class #4 - Day #2 PM)

Have to mention this again - each class is followed by a break-out session that is intended to be hands on.  There will be plenty of laptops on-site (both REW and attendees) and even more bandwidth available.  Use this time to put what you learned into practice and impact your bottom line.  Get ahead!

I can't wait for the meals! Everyone was really surprised last year when the food turned out to be amazing. I'll be up early for breakfast, for sure.

Can't wait to see who's coming back! And of course, wondering who's going to be new...

Yeah, I'm looking forward to this as well. I was able to meet a lot of people in person that I've known for years, last conference. Hopefully this year we'll be able to hang out some more and socialize. Also, the food last year was amazing...

If Nick and Gerry are any indication of a trend then the $499 USD for the conference ticket is really just $124.25 USD per "amazing meal" (gratuity included).

Presentations, REW Calendar module release, inside information on customizations and what works for conversion, networking, time with REW staff and one-on-one time with Morgan are just 'icing on the cake'.

Anyone who attended last year care to back up the "great food" theme or pass along any comments regarding your experience at the 2008 REW conference?

Ok, guys... I can't resist supporting this event with a few comments.

The amount of new infomation I learned and the connections I made at last year's summit made the experience more that worth the cost. Some of the ideas exchanged were awesome, especially for anyone interested in having their business move up a notch or two!  Amazing how many openly shared their success with others. I thought I knew a thing or two... but what I saw others doing with their sites, lead management, follow up, social networking, etc  just blew me away.

This is really an event worth attending as the "knowledge pool" is more than exceptional, as are all the REW team who really welcome you to the event.

See 'ya all there for the first $124.15 amazing breakfast.

I went to the summit last year and had a great time and learned a lot about SEO and the company.  This is a great way to learn what others in the business are doing and you can feel free to share information because everyone is from different markets.  The free advice and new ideas that I got from the other attendees is reason alone to go and will more than pay for the trip.  I live in Charleston, SC so it was a long trip but well worth it.  I can't go this year because of the dates.... I would much rather it be in September than the height of my busy season.  Meeting Morgan, Craig and Steven was also very cool after talking for hours on the phone with these guys for the last 4 years.  This is a great experience and Nanaimo is a great little vacation too!  Try the fish and chips!!!!

I'd like all my clients to attend the Summit because I think it's an excellent venue for learning about SEO, lead conversion, the importance of networking, and other topics from the experts. The sharing of ideas and the forming of relationships is invaluable. Plus, it's really cool to meet our clients in person ^_^

P.S. There's a place close to our office that sells deep-fried chocolate bars. They're amazing, and definitely worth the trip to the coast

Hey Lee!

It was great to meet you last year. After last year's fun, I had to come back! One of the things that was great for me was hanging out with people after class and sharing ideas and networking. Some of the closest people that work with me on a day to day basis are the friends that I got to hang out with last year.

(Meeting up with Morgan and the REW staff after years was fun too!)

Like Lee said, I think one of the things that surprises people is that the people that they have met online are so open and friendly and willing to share with each other.  I speak at several conferences each year and this is the one place where I feel most at home and among friends.

I am looking forward to sharing my insights on authority building and giving back for all of the goodness that has come to me from REW.

Oh...and meeting and swapping stories with  Drew Hartanov is worth $100 in itself! That means breakfast is only $24 bucks and change (grin)!

Save me a seat at the table, my friend!
