Here are some frequently asked questions about email hosted with REW on our servers at Rackspace. If you are still hosted on the old Planet servers your settings will be slightly different.
How do I get to webmail?
To access your Horde webmail go to webmail.example.com/ (where example is your domain name). Then sign in with your full email address (john@example.com) and your password.
What is my incoming mail server?
Your incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.com and you should connect with POP3 to port 110 (the default).
What is my outgoing mail server?
Your outgoing mail server is mail.yourdomain.com and you should connect with SMTP on port 25 or 587.
The reason there are two ports is that some Internet Service Providers will block port 25. This is to help prevent spam. So we have added an additional port for sending mail.
How do I get a new account set up?
If you would like a new account set up please create a new post titled "New Email Account Request" and provide your domain name, the email address you would like, and optionally where you would like it to forward. Someone will then create the account for you and PM you the details.
How do I get my password reset?
If you have lost the password for one of your email accounts please create a new thread titled "Email Password Reset" and provide the account you need the new password for. Someone will PM you your new password shortly.
If you would like to pick your own password just say so in your post and someone will PM you to ask for the password. Please remember that all passwords must meet the Password Requirements.

Hello Parker
That depends on what email program you are using. Try following the steps in the tutorial for your specific email client.
If your still having problems you can phone us and ask for Support and someone will help you get everything set up.
Hi Steven,
I'm wondering how I can have all my emails automatically be submitted to my address book. I have another Horde account with my Redman site that does this and tried to see how they do it but was unsuccesful. Thanks for your help!
Go to Options -> Mail -> Other Options -> Address Book and check off "Save recipients automatically to the default address book? "
The blogs isnt really the best place to get support. The Email Support Forums is a much better place to get help as more people are checking there. http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/email-support.html
Or simply email support@realestatewebmasters.com
How do I set up IMAP email. We use email on three different computers and when we started with REW they told us that we would have access to your IMAP servers but this tutorial seems to be for POP3 only.
Hello Nick
The process for setting up IMAP should be similar to POP. Just use mail.yourdomain.com as you IMAP server and your outgoing server.
If you need further help post in the email support forum or email support@realestatewebmasters.com or phone in and ask for someone in Support.
