Hello again, here we go with the Thunderbird e-mail settings.
Again we start with our example:
My ficitional domain www.rewthomas.com
My user account : thomas
My password: potato1
Both Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP) Mail servers are set to mail.rewthomas.com
In Thunderbird when you set up a new account, or add an account, you will be walked through a wizard for setting up. Below is a series of screenshots illustrating the steps to set up your mail account.
First we start with the type of account.

Then we enter your name followed by your e-mail address.

After which we enter the Incoming (POP3) server and outgoing (SMTP) server settings

You then enter your account name with the domain attached as shown.

You now enter the name by which you want to call this account, I am calling it thomas@rewthomas.com for this example.

All the mail settings are now entered, you should see this next screen after clicking "Next"

To confirm your settings are correct select "Account Settings" from the "Tools" menu. You will then see the following screen.

Select "Outgoing Server (SMTP) from the menu. You will see the following screen.

This is the final setting to confirm. Once you confirm this click "OK" until you are back to the E-mail interface and you are all done.
Please let me know if this instruction is incomplete or incorrect as I am not all that familiar with Thunderbird.
Talk to you all later.
