A Blog about Blogging | The Power of Blogs

In either event, I decided to write about why we write, or blog I should say. Many individuals blog because they have something to say, some just want to rant and rave about some topic, while others do it for reasons of being social or because they are attempting to embrace the whole Social Networking concept. Whatever the reason is that someone blogs is not really important, what is important is the fact that they do blog and the fact that there is alot of great information out there written in blogs that are much easier to communicate to a large audience.
Blogs are a fascinating forum where someone can write some thoughts on something, and people from all over the planet can comment on what they have written. In addition, that information can be picked up by other sources and pushed out to the masses (no pun intended). What a great world we live in where I could be writing about the Tampa Real Estate market here in Florida and someone in China could possibly be reading what I just wrote. Think of the power in that.
Blogs are a great marketing tool that could be utilized for just about any industry, charity, covering any and all topics. If you are blogging, fantastic, you understand the value of it, and if you are not, what are you waiting for, stop reading this blog and go blog yourself!

Btw - I see you have not yet turned on your friends widget, doing so (And adding other REW Bloggers you respect) may cause positive blog karma (And increasing interlinked bloggy goodness) 
Sometimes you're so busy with blogging you forget who your friends are
I think it also depends on where you blog. I have multiple blogs and each one has brought me some consumer interest (I get more phone calls about a post I made than comments on my local blogs). I have learned that the blogs that get the most attention are those created in a social setting such as REW or ActiveRain. My blogs that are incorporated on my websites do get read and my most popular local blog about Chicago Suburbs real estate brings me the most phone calls and subscribers. My standalone blog written mostly about South Chicago Suburbs real estate gets the least notice but I keep it up as I have received a few comments on it and I use it to help my other sites.
Sounds like you use blogs efficiently and attract a wider audience with several as opposed to one. You know it's funny - My REW Blog has 169,902 unique reads, with only 145 posts - And for dang reason, I never get up the motivation to write more lol - What that means is every time I blog (And this increases over time) I reach an average of 169,902 /145 people. So you don't have to do the math, I reach almost 1200 unique readers per post. There are some people who would love to get in front of that many unique people interested in their offerings in a month. So what is my problem! I am off to blog now.
