If I had a Spare Minute to Breathe....I Wouldn't Change a Thing - I am a Tampa Realtor

I often think about what I would do if I had a spare minute again to breath, reflect on where I came from and where I am going.  I am a Realtor selling property in the Tampa Real Estate Market and am heavily involved in the Tampa Foreclosures Market as well.  My wife is typically working somewhere around 30-40 leads at any one time, I am growing my team, have added another team member and looking to grow it another 5 people minimum.  I manage at least 4 blogs per week, several websites, go on Listing presentations, meet with developers about marketing their product, and manage my commercial projects.  In addition, I am the Technology Director of my company for some 600 agents, teach between 3-5 hours per week and hold office time for 5 hours a week to help those in need in the office.  Along with that, I am Chairman of a Committee trying to convert a Church in disarray into a Mission for the poor.

My Broker/Owner of the Keller Williams I work at thinks I am out to conquer the world at the pace I typically move.  At times I wonder why I do all of this, as the other agents on my team just typically see a blur and would love for me to move at 1/4 to 1/2 speed.  I often think, what would I do if I slowed down....then my answer is "Go Crazy".    I feel I need to be involved to help people, at whatever the cost to myself.  I know this all sounds crazy, but I came from a fortune 500 job where crawling up off the backs of the carcass of the people you just destroyed and left behind to get to the top was common.  I see the problem with that life style and thank the good Lord above that I am no longer involved in that type of atmosphere.

I write this blog not to praise myself, but merely to point out that there are many Real Estate Agents out there that truly care about others and that is the real reason why they continue to "Do Real Estate" and why they remain in Real Estate today.

So if you happen to see your favorite Real Estate agent walking in the grocery store, or in the park, or showing an open house...walk up to him or her, and give them a hug.  It will make a huge difference in their day.  I declare May 7th the official "Hug your Realtor Day"

Wow, Robert, I guess that's a true description of a Type A personality!  My daugher-in-law is like that and it took years of coaxing her to "relax" and give up one of her multiple jobs (along with helping my son raise their two boys).  She has her PhD and is just a little whirlwind and can't seem to slow down although with her last pregnancy she seems to be slowing her pace a bit. What's so great is that much of your activity is helping others so accolades are well deserved.
