IPhone vs Blackberry - Which one best for Realtors?

I have used a Blackberry 8800 for some time now and the instant email was great. It allowed me to respond quickly to leads and questions from clients. Now comes along the IPhone. My buddy decided to get my wife and I both an IPhone (original model) and at first glance, I thought it was pretty much a toy....a really pretty toy, shinny, pretty pictures, etc. As I started to use it more and more, I found that it was a great phone (if you want to call it a phone). The internet browser is amazing, no more mobile mls for me. The speaker phone is pretty good and the phone in general is pretty good. One of the great things that the phone does do is integrate well with my website in terms of text messaging leads and the ability for me to reassign them to other agents. The mail is still a problem but that is fixable with the mobile me site that apple is offering for $99/year (it will give me instant email among other features).
So what about my Blackberry? I haven't abandoned it just yet. I still love that phone. The phone is great, the speaker phone is great, and the instant mail can't be beat. So do I think that one is better than the other for Real Estate...I think they both have pros and cons. The Iphone doesn't have a GPS, but then again, I have a Tom Tom in my car for that. I feel that everyone will have to try both for themselves to see what works best for them. If mail is an absolute must and you don't care about anything else, Blackberry hands down. If you want some other features, like your music, search the web, then lean toward the IPhone. The Blackberry Bold may change things when it arrives as well as the Blackberry Thunder (touch screen)...but for now, give them both a try to see what you like...both work well and are tough choices for real estate.

The new iPhones actually do have GPS

Yes I know...I was referring to the Iphone 1.0
In our area, neither. The reason I say this is because neither phone is support by our local MLS board for electronic lockbox syncronization. The only PDA/smart phone option in our area that is really supported is the Treo.
The thing wih the IPhone is that it has a real http browser so it is the same as your home laptop unless it is something optimized specifically for IE then you will have a problem.

Just the post I was looking for. I've been missing out on some leads, so I'm thinking of getting a new phone. These were the 2 choices for me. I think I'll probably go with the Blackberry, but I'd love to have some features that the IPhone has.
