Milton County To Return?

The North Fulton cities of Alpharetta, John's Creek, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs may find themselves in a new (old) county by 2010. Legislation has been introduced in the Georgia General Assembly that would begin the process of reviving the County of Milton from Georgia's past. During the Great Depression, when the area to the north of Atlanta was mostly rural farmland and Milton County was having financial troubles, Milton County merged into Fulton County. Now that all unincorporated areas have been either annexed into existing cities or incorporated into new cities, legislators and many residents believe that the future of North Fulton will be better served with a more responsive local county government. The biggest complaint voiced by residents…

Neighborhoods In Alpharetta

I have created a map of neighborhoods in Alpharetta to help buyers and sellers learn more about real estate in Alpharetta in an interactive way. My hope is that residents of individual neighborhoods will contribute by providing information to me that I will post on the map and that others might find useful. I plan on adding 1 new subdivision every week or so if you would like information about your neighborhood added to the map, let me know your subdivision and any information you would like posted.

Whether or not you intend for your home to be an investment, it is. The school district where your home is located influences the value considerably. The foremost reason is that many potential buyers have children and the quality of education is an extremely important factor in where they a willing to move. Parents value a good education for their children, and if the public schools are not satisfactory, many elect private schools or move to an area with better public education. Alpharetta Real Estate Market Conditions

The Alpharetta real estate market, unlike many around the country, remained strong in all areas. The overall number of homes sold was up year to year from 2005, and there were a number of other positive signs that indicate the overall strength of the Alpharetta real estate market heading into 2007. As was expected, the total number of homes sold was down and aligned with the overall shift in the real estate market.
