Although the real estate market in general may have cooled to more balanced levels, the luxury home neighborhood of Glen Abbey, off of Kimball Bridge Road did not see a slowdown in home sales in 2006. Here are the year to year market conditions for Glen Abbey in 2005 vs. 2006:

The Glen Abbey Real Estate Market faired well during the shift to a more balanced real estate market in 2006.
 
Appreciation - While the number of homes sold was down slightly in 2006, the sales price was up 4.7% over 2005.
 
Average Sales Price – Up $32,015.
 
Days on Market – 39 days for a home to sell. This number is unchanged from in 2005. This statistic indicates that while much of the national, regional and even some of the local real estate markets saw a minor slowdown, real estate in Glen Abbey continued to remain a very desirable address.
