Alpharetta Country Clubs

Alpharetta is home to many fine neighborhoods and subdivisions and within the luxury Alpharetta real estate market there are a number of exclusive country clubs to choose from. Here is some information about the country clubs in Alpharetta.

Alpharetta Country Club

The Alpharetta Country Club bills itself as "The nicest, most "family-affordable" private club in North Fulton County." It offers the amenities that you expect in a country club including golf, tennis, swimming and dining with massage therapy as an attractive addition to their services. The ACC is located in North Valley which is to the west of Ga. 400 off of Windward Parkway. A recent ownership change has provided a $500,000 improvement project for the club. The golf course itself is a par - 70,  Willard Byrd design. According to their website, memberships start at under $3,500 and $245 month for dues. The clubhouse is available for private events such as weddings and bridal showers.

White Columns Country Club

White Columns Country Club is located in the same area as the Alpharetta Country club, to the west of Ga 400 off of Windward Parkway. Different levels of membership are offered to meet differing needs for members. Along with swim, tennis and golf, White Columns has a golf shop, card room and fitness center. The golf course was designed by Tom Fazio and is challenging for golfers at any skill level. Children's activities include swim, tennis and golf lessons as well as teams for all three sports.  White columns is also available for banquets and wedding events.

Country Club of the South

Any discussion about country clubs in Alpharetta without mentioning Country Cub of the South would be remiss. From the Jack Nicklaus designed golf course to the two communitiy centers and the 54,000 square foot club at the eighteenth hole, every detail in Country Club of the South has been considered. There is a tennis pro shop along with six hardcourt and Rubico tennis courts. Activities for children are planned all year long and there is a newcomers group to intrduce new residents to all of the amenities. The gated entrance to Country Club of the South is located off of Old Alabama Road and east of Jones Bridge Road. As with most country clubs in Alpharetta, Country Club of the South offers various membership levels for residents and non-residents.

The Manor Golf and Country Club

 The Manor Golf and Country club features a Tom Watson designed golf course and provides a family friendly atmosphere with world class amenities. The Manor is located west off of Windward Parkway and GA 400. The English Tudor clubhouse features dining, banquet rooms and locker rooms for golfers. Activities in the club include kid friendly activities such as sports camps, cooking classes and movie night. Adults have plenty of activities as well with many clubs for all tastes including, bridge, cooking, gardening, poker, wine and art. The Manor offers three membership classifications to choose from. The price of Homes in The Manor range from around $900,000 and up.

Windward

Windward is not exactly a country club, but, worth mentioning due to the fantastic amenities. The prestigious Golf Club of Georgia is located in the Windward subdivision and, with all of the amenities including, the Windward Lake Club, the marina on Lake Windward, 20 tennis courts, numerous ball fieds and expansive pool area, Windward offers almost as much as any of the above country clubs in a very family friendly environment.
