The good news about the Atlantla luxury real estate market no longer means that you must live in Buckhead to enjoy fine homes and amenities you have come to expect in the luxury real estate market. In fact, you might consider whether or not the city of Atlanta is the right place for such a large investment. I am not saying that areas such as Ansley Park, Buckhead, Tuxedo Park and other, long established neighborhoods don't offer some of the finest homes, designed by some of the greatest architects Atlanta has ever seen, are not worthy of consideration - I am only saying that there is more to the luxury Atlanta home market than ever before. Atlanta luxury real estate now means that you can find the unparalleled amenities you have come to expect, on lots and in locations that are equal to, or better than in the City of Atlanta, in other areas. A great example of an exciting area of continued developement of new luxury homes is in the city of Sandy Springs. Located on the north side of Chastain Park and inside I-285, you will find a wealth of luxury homes with more new constuction coming on the market almost daily. Many reasons have combined to create the explosion of new homes in the luxury real estate market in Sandy Springs. Lot size, location, more efficient and less expensive government and lower taxes are the main reasons, but there are others. The area is completely residential so the traffic is almost non-existant and the public schools are excellent so you can offset some of the costs that may have been used for private schooling. Regardless of your income, buying a luxury home is a large investment that requires diligent research before a decision should be reached. It is important to understand the direction of the market in the short and long term before making such a large commitment of resources.
