The new city of Milton is truly one of Atlanta's last great gems. Incorporated in December of 2006, Milton is located in the northwest section of Fulton county with the city of Alpharetta to the east and Cherokee county to the west. Home to numerous horse farms and equestrian estates, most lots in Milton are large - over an acre. When you are in Milton, you know you are close to Atlanta, but, it doesn't feel like it. The tree canopy and horse farms help to make you feel like you are in a small town.
