Fannie Mae Announces Eviction Moratorium for the Holidays

Yesterday, Fannie Mae announced that it will suspend evictions of homeowners from 1-4 family homes beginning December 18, 2011 through January 2, 2012.

Administrative procedings for the eviction process will continue during this period, but families living in foreclosed homes may be permitted to remain through the holidays.
