Link Managing Annoyances

Working for Real Estate Webmasters for a couple years now has given me plenty of opportunity to develop some pretty interesting pet peeves. I find myself doing them at times too... and I have to stop myself. Sometimes I slip though.
Something that took me a while to come to terms with was the fact that not every Realtor out there is Web Savvy and sometimes I will have to explain the little things. I often get questions and comments like:
"What is an anchor text?" "What does SEO mean?" and the classic, "Please stop sending me these automated messages!"
Those I can handle. But sometimes I get sent some things that just make me cringe. One of the major things is automated linking software. There is nothing worse than coming into work and having a link exchange request email from someone....100 times. One for every client! Sometimes two! They don't stop either. When you request that they take your name off the mailing list... They completely ignore and send you 100 more emails the next day. At some points it gets so ridiculous that I just send an email with "STOP SPAMMING MY INBOX" in bright red size 300 font, pasted about 100 times.
People who post on the forum solely for self-promotion. I'd say, before you go around self-promoting yourself on someone else's site, you should at least scope out the forum first. They would learn so much more and figure out better ways to do things rather than spamming forums. If they had stopped to read a bunch of the posts, chances are they could have made more money using the information provided by members.
People who remove links without telling me. Seriously, this is the biggest pain. Clients get mad at me because they are giving these guys a one way link when really, they just freakin' removed the damn links immediately after the exchange( as a result.. I check our links regularly.)
I plan on updating this again soon when I have more time. I have lots more to add :)

Mine is the 3-way link exchange request in which they're obviously doing nothing to promote the site they want to link to you from.
