The Nintendo Wii - Best workout I've ever had.

SEO Dave recently bought a Wii, after much hype from Thomas. For those of you who don't know, the Wii is the latest Nintendo Gaming System. This thing is absolutely amazing. I went over to Dave's place to give it a shot. Good god, I have never broken a sweat playing a video game before.

The controls are completely different than any video game I have ever seen. You have a remote control aka Wand and another control that goes in the other hand called a Nunchuk. There is a sensor you place at the top of your TV and it picks up the movements of your hand with the controls.

This adds a whole new level of realism to these games. For bowling, you actually have to bowl the freakin ball. Of course, it's invisible... you are just making the movements with your hand. Even better, you can put spin on the ball by turning your write as you bowl it. I have a feeling this system is going to have some damn good Sword fighting games and shooters.

Some of the games we played were Smooth Moves, Wii Sports and Donkey Konga. Smooth Moves is my favorite I think. It's a bunch of mini-games, more or less. Wii Sports is cool. You can play Baseball, Bowling and a few others I can't think of.

This thing had me running, jumping, ducking, waving my arms in the air and so on... it was great! If you're worried about your kids playing video games and not getting any exercise, get them a Wii. This thing ie damn cool!

It's definitely the most impressive system I've played to date. Smooth Moves is a crazy multiplayer game that'll have you dying of laughter.rnrnDonkey Konga is a gamecube game, but fortunately you can plug game cube games/controllers right into the Wii

I personally have it. Just wait if you play Zelda. You actually hold the sword and shield. Also, there is a game out called Red Steel, where you use either a pistol or a katana to play with. And the game called 'Katana' is coming out soon too.
