Pike County is located in the southeastern section of the state, in the coastal plain or "Wiregrass" area. It encompasses 672 square miles. A teacher's training college, Troy normal School, was established in 1887. Today it exists as the prestigious Troy University. Other towns in the county include Brundidge, Spring Hill and Henderson.

The town of Troy is quickly growing but still has that down home feeling, there are still several beautiful lots to choose from, and when I say lots I do not mean ¼ acre. Imagine one, five or even 100 acres. Some people consider it peace and quite, I call it Paradise!!

Pike county borders many great towns, and counties that all offer their own unique mountain beauty and country flair.
