Check out the FREE Movies in the Park Summer season starting Saturday, June 11, 2011. Movie starts at dusk. Come out early (7pm) to enjoy children's activities, food and more!

Movie: "Gulliver's Travels"
Location: Newtown Park at 3150 Old Alabama Road

Come back out July 9, 2011 and August 13, 2011 for the next Movies in the Park events.

John's Creek 2nd annual "Music in the Park" will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Come out for live music, children's activities/games and picnic food for FREE in Newtown Park at 3150 Old Alabama Rd.

Pre-even festivities begin at 4pm. The Beethoven Chamber Orchestra kicks off the event at 5:45pm. Johns Creek Symphony (the only all-professional symphony orchestra in metro Atlanta, other than the Atlanta Symphony) plays from 7:30 - 9:30pm.

On Wednesday, June 15, 2011, the Newtown Dog Park opens! A ceremony will be held at 11am including doggie treats, human snacks, drinks and caricature sketches of owners and their dogs.

The Newtown Dog Park includes walking paths, fetch area, two splash pad water features, drinking fountains for dogs and us humans too, doggie tunnels and obstacles, special artificial turf, benches and shelters. Can't wait to see it!
