The numbers for June 2008 are showing a slide in the average price of homes closed. With a drop around eleven thousand over the previous month the numbers show that it is still a buyers market.
The List to sell variance decreased for the month from a eighteen month high. The numbers hint that sellers are still overpricing their homes.

The Hernando County Real Estate Market continues to show signs of improving. Closings are up at 193 for the month while average home price fell a from the previous month. The continued growth in the number of sales helps push the absorption rate to 19 months of inventory.
