Natural Links are the Best
Posted Mar 22, 2007 @ 11:56 am, Viewed by 490 Visitors, Read 490 Times. This type of writing is I believe what the search engines are aiming for in their ever changing algorythm tweaking and vigilance. As time passes search engines become more adept at identifying true links which are intended to direct people to an article which is well written and thought provoking. In the end why we write in a blog is simply to prove to others that we have something important to say. We hope in the long run they will seek us out for our GREAT CHARM, inteligence and business ethics.
Customers want to feel in the end that they were offered the best information the writer had available and that the writing was not simply a carefully worded full page ad.
I for one am not going to optimize my blog, therefore if you like what you are reading and want to see more I would appreciate a link.
Have a Great Day!

Thanks for the comment Nick, I just wanted to clarify what my point was. I am absolutely still writing industry related articles intended to increase my bottom line. I believe optimization in a typical sense creates choppy articles with redundancy of content which is not intended for human readers. My main point is to be ahead of the curve I am going where I think search engines will manage to get to in the near future. In an environment such as REW where the mothership is highly optimized and well ranked by SE's I will see traffic when a person searches my topic. When I do get readers I want the reader to find an article which captivates them not dissapoints them. But it is still ALAS all about business. Have a Great Day! Don (The Real Estate) Mann

With all the success that blogs have been having in the Search Engines, it's getting harder to concentrate on writing some solid content that isn't business driven. Good for you for concentrating on writing... well whatever you feel like writing about instead of having it all be about the business!
