Thanks Cal!    I've added you to 'my friends,' btw!  Yeah, this whole mortgage crisis thing is going to bring our economy to a halt.  I've been working on a blog entry to that effect.  Given this is an election year, if we get a president who decides to increase taxes coupled with folks losing their homes, our country will be brought to it's knees.

What amazes me is that someone like myself that lived in a rural Mississippi agricultural environment for decades could see this coming yet it has taken so many smart people by surprise. Don't you remember in grade school learning about the great stock market crash and that the shoe shine boys and taxi drivers were giving stock tips and were actively buying the market. Any time a herd mentality develops you better watch out.  It is opportunity time now for those that don't follow the herd!
