The Tri Cities Washington Antique show roles into Pasco's TRAC Pavilion. The Tri City Wa Antique show, considered the largest in the state, will host the Southeastern Washington Quilters (SEW-Q) Quilt Auction to benefit Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House. The Tri Cities Antique show will house a number of antique vendors from around the county promising a wide variety of antiques and collectibles reasonably priced to sell. Consider joining the fun, and for good cause, Friday, Oct. 12, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the TRAC facility in Pasco.

One of the major draws to Washington’s beautiful Tri-Cities area, for both real estate opportunities as well as tourism, is the wide variety and abundance of natural attractions to be found there. The Tri-Cities community of Pasco is home to many of these wonders, including the McNary National Wildlife Refuge.

Living in Pasco Washington, we are in the Pasco Wa School District. Of our five children, we have one in the Pasco public schools, our oldest Cassandra. We're proud of her as she is in Pasco's Running Start program whereby the student enters college as a freshman in place of the student's junior year in high school. Upon earning a 2-year Associate in Arts degree, the student receives a high school diploma. Our daughter is 17 and will have her Associates in Arts degree (and high school diploma) from Columbia Basin College this year.

One thing that can really draw in large crowds (locals, visitors, tourists, homeowners, those thinking about relocation and real estate) and contribute to a growing tourism industry and Pasco Wa real estate market is a good festival or event. Fortunately, the exciting community of Pasco, in Washington’s famous Tri-Cities, offers two fantastic festivals/events every year, attracting crowds from near and far.

The first is the Pasco Farmers Market, an ongoing event held every year during the summer months and including part of spring and fall (generally, early May to late October). The farmer’s market is a favorite tradition for the community, and also offers the opportunity for local Pasco farmers to sell their produce for six months of the year.

Pasco Washington has a CoEd STEP Aerobics class for its adult residents that is both creative and intense. If you think you can keep up, come join the team! Aerobic stepping is well known for its ability to work all the major muscle groups of the lower body, and has the added benefit of burning 30% more body fat than traditional forms of aerobics.

The program includes floor work, stretching and cooling down. All you need bring are some comfy clothes you can sweat in, a bottle of water, a towel, and an enthusiastic attitude. The classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Pasco Senior Center.

Hunting is an activity as old as the hills in Pasco Washington, and Southeast Wa in general.
