Active Adult Communities in Cherokee County Georgia

As a proud bearer of the SRES designation in real estate, I find myself going out of my way to check out any and all new active adult communities that pop up in the area.  SRES stands for Seniors Real Estate Specialist -- and it grooms us to understand and serve the special needs of consumers in the 55 and older market.  Cherokee County is stepping up to the plate also -- several new 55+ communities have had their grand openings this spring and several more are in the early stages of development.  No matter what your price range is - from the low 100's to the 500's - you can find what you are looking for in North Georgia - and probably right here in Cherokee County.  Somerset, The Seasons, Laurel Canyon, Cadence, Bridgemill, Meridian, and Montclair are just a few of the active adult communities available in the area.  If you are interested in visiting some 55+ communities while you are in the area - give me a call and I will be happy to take you on a tour of all the ones that fit your needs.  Also don't forget that Cherokee County has a very generous tax break for seniors that turn 62 years old.  Upon turning 62 your property taxes will be lowered about 75 - 85 percent.  If you purchase a home in the mid 100 range that means your property taxes would only be several hundred dollars!
