Chatham NJ was named in 2005 as one of Money Magazine’s top ten places to live in the United States. Chatham is a quieter, quaint town and residents love it.  When they move, its usually from one side of town to the other for a bigger home or to downsize.

What's up with the Boro's stats being down (both Ave Sales Price and Total sold) compared to Township being up in 2007? Both look like nice places to live. Are there better deals in the Boro?

Yes, interesting.. The boro is closer to town and activity, although some areas of Chatham Township are an easy trip into Summit for the train where there is more parking. Typically you can get a home with more land in Chatham Township...there were 12 sales over $2M this year, the highest being $3,850,000. Its a beauty, new construction with 7 bedrooms, 7.2 bathrooms! Chatham is a town that you can't go wrong.
