These are interesting before and after pictures in Morristown's Historic District.  Take a look at this home to the left.  Its on 7 Ogden Place and its a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch, a perfectly nice home but nothing special. 
 
A couple things about this home...its sitting on a lot which is .84 acres, dimensions being 125 x 295.  Hmmmm, here in Morristown NJ, builders like wide lots...they put big expensive homes on them.  Now lets look at the location of this home.  Its in the very desirable Historic District of Morristown which is close to town and has many beautiful, large older homes with wrap around porches and slate roofs which easily sell for $1M+.

The most expensive home on the market right now in Morristown is listed for $1,795,000, a 5 bedroom 5.1 bathroom new construction colonial and guess where its located....thats right, 7 Ogden Place.  Take a look.  I'm not sure it fits in with the old world homes in the historic district, but it does have character and there is something to be said for brandy new.  Its been on the market now for 233 days, so it'll be interesting to see the sale price on this reborn Morristown home.
