T. Boone Pickens Has a plan..

Over 1,000 real estate agents promoting alternative energy concepts for their respective areas. In case you do not follow the financial news like I do, you may have missed all of the T. Boone Pickens commercials on the business channels concerning a plan to help the American economy.... specifically called the Pickens Plan.
Regardless of what you might think is going on concerning the United States Economy, the fact of the matter is that approximately $700 Billion dollars a year is leaving the United States economy A YEAR for our Oil needs alone. Right now we are renting... and all real estate agents should know that eventually, renting is going to cost you money. (Make Sure you watch the Video Below.)
I posted a blog post over at Active Rain concerning the Pickens Plan and how $300 Billion would buy a lot of real estate and encouraged Active Rain members to join a group I started on the Push Pickens Plan web page called "Real Estate Agents for The Pickens Plan" .
My intention for setting up the Real Estate Agents for The Pickens Plan has nothing to do with SEO, attracting real estate buyers, making money or anything like that. It has to do with promoting the welfare of our economy with principles that hopefully real estate agents can find beneficial and promote in their communities.
Join the Pickens Plan as a member, join the Real Estate Agents for The Pickens Plan and promote "green" resources locally for your Sphere of Influence. Become a specialist in this growing field and maybe, just maybe you'll attract enough attention to be able to afford one of these super cool cars from Tesla Motors.

Heard Boone on a Sunday morning show this morning from another room, don't know if it was a commercial or interview, but we all need to get the word out and stop letting the lunatics run the asylum.

Hey guys - I just saw that Pickens is doing TV commercials about his Pickens Plan. I hope people get involved.

I highly admire T. Boone Pickens for his push to bring more Wind Machines and PV on line to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. It would seem that in Texas and Hawaii the PV would be just as important as Wind due to the intensity of the sun throughout most of the year. I guess that wind is more viable in Texas since they have the land area to build the wind machines. Lets hope that the big oil companies will come on board very soon to get the ball rolling and support Mr Pickens in his efforts.

Paul - Thank you for this great post. I agree with everything Pickens is saying in the video. Over the last several weeks he has been getting a lot of press because of his wind farm. I wish every member of Congress would take some action and go to wind and natural gas.
