That is why agents formulated the MLS. Quick ... Read Full Post

Selling a home can be a stress-free, simple and profitable experience – but it can also be a big, expensive headache. So what’s the difference between the two outcomes? In my experience of helping numerous people sell their homes – for a variety of reasons – the core difference between a successful sale and an unsuccessful one is one word: information. Searching townhouses for sale, a client of mine was delighted to find this secluded corner Victoria Park Fort Lauderdale townhome nestled in a small complex of just 6 residences. With a short distance to the cafes and boutiques on Las Olas Boulevard, this spacious 2 bedroom townhome also featured an extra large private fenced back yard. After being on the market for sale for only 78 days, my client closed and purchased this townhome for $185,000. Whether buying or selling real estate in Fort ... Read Full Post

Do you realize that mortgage rates in the US today are lower than in 1963? In 1963 the average home cost $17,700. You will probably pay more than that despite the low home prices nationwide, but the current 5% average mortgage rate (with no points or fees) is a full percentage point lower than the 6% average of 1963.During the early to mid 1970s rates ranged from 7.25% to 10% (the norm was 9%), reaching a high of 18% between 1977 and 1981. Today's rates are the lowest in that 47 year history.... Read Full Post
