Jon Bon Jovi and 50 Cent Real Estate Investment Approach

Celebrities have the ability to purchase just about any house they desire. If they want 60,000 square feet of interior in their home, then they go about finding a home with that amount of square footage. If there is no home on the market to appease their needs, they have one built. With money, comes the ability to purchase every desire you may have in a home. But, there are differences when it comes to home buying depending on the style of celebrity. Flashy, fast talking celebrities like 50 Cent, purchase homes that are famed, huge and ready to move in. While other celebrities of the more humble authority have the patience to buy old and renovate.
Celebrities that climb the ranks of stardom quickly and move from not so affluent to mega stardom tend to buy huge and buy fast when it comes to real estate. 50 Cent, for instance, purchased Mike Tyson's $4.1 million mansion. The home offered 48,000 square feet, 52 rooms, a boathouse and servants quarters. The home, clearly too large for a family of 100, held the sights of 50 Cent as both a nostalgic piece of real estate and a business decision. Soon after purchasing the home and showing it off on MTV Cribs, 50 Cent placed the home on the market for more than $18 million. Not too shabby a real estate investment for a rapper that no one ever thought would make it past the first album.
Jon Bon Jovi, on the other hand, tends to have his real estate sites fixated more on the renovation of homes for those who can not afford to do it themselves. As a long term rocker and multi-millionaire, Jon Bon Jovi has the monetary clout to buy any home he would like in the world. Instead, he chooses to help others feel the beautiful feeling of home ownership. Celebrities like Jon Bon Jovi are of a different class and sort than those of the same ideals associated with 50 Cent. Each has their own real estate goals and the money to achieve them.
When celebrities look for real estate it is for one of three reasons. They will either take the 50 Cent route and buy the home to renovate and resell, purchase a large home just to say they own it, or live a more modest life like Jon Bon Jovi and give back through the art of renovating real estate.
