Salt Lake is a city rich with diversity.  Although we have long endured the reputation as a narrow-minded community filled with religious zealots, stiff moral legislation, and peculiar ways, frankly, we are not like that at all.  True, Salt Lake City is the headquarters of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the influence and presence of the church is still quite evident here.  But many other people of various nationalities and religious persuasions had a hand in building our city too.  The diversity of our culture is comparable to cities considered to be more cosmopolitan--like San Francisco.  It's fair to say that people relocating to Salt Lake City will be delightfully surprised by what Salt Lake City has to offer.
