A blogging platform with a difference:
If you are reading this page, please also ensure that you have read our terms of use.
An important thing that sets REW Blogs apart from many of the popular albeit less targeted social media outlets such as Facebook, or My Space is that REW Blogs have rules, and a full time staff dedicated to enforcing them.
These rules are in place to ensure that all readers of REW Blogs are ensured a positive user experience. An experience that leaves them feeling that they have encountered a community of true real estate professionals, a community that is free from posts promoting hate or violence, profanity or general offensive materials.
Our rules can be broken down into the following categories - it is recommended that you read ALL of them as they touch on different topics, yet share equal importance.
Positive reader experience
Building loyal readerships
Maintaining search engine compliance
#1: Rule number one: No copyright infringement. This goes for text and images - if you do not own or have permission to post content in your REW blog, do not post it. This is with the exceptions of "fair use" when it comes to online authoring. The best way to avoid this (And make your blog great) is to post unique content that you come up with yourself, that truly speaks to your audience, and shows off your prowess as a writer, and the depth of your knowledge as an industry leader in your field.
#2: Rule number two: REW Blogs are not for link exchanges: This does not mean you cannot link out from your blog to posts, threads, sites and pages related to your particular post. If you link from your blog in a post, that link should support the post.
#3: PG 13 - these blogs are accessbile to the public including those under the age of 18 - so no questionable material (Swearing, nudity, illegal materials etc will not be tollerated) - these blogs are your voice to the world and I think everyone agrees we should all try to appear as professional as possible.
#4: No spamming - any violation of any search engine's terms of service will cause an automatic suspension of your REW Blog
#5: UNIQUE CONTENT ONLY: We do not allow content to be posted to REW Blogs that already exists somewhere else on the web. If you are copy pasting (Even if you the original author) then please move on, as we do not accept that here.
