Beaufort South Carolina's Premier Oceanfront Community is Fripp Island

Fripp Island Resort is a 3000 acre, private beachfront resort.  Occupied by around 750 permanent residents, Fripp Island has long been one of South Carolina's favorite vacation destinations.  While less than a thousand live full time occupants on the island, it often feels like you are on your own private island.

Amenities include golf, tennis, kayaking, nature excursions, shopping, dinning, biking, sailing, boating, and plenty of other nature themed events.  The island has two golf courses (Ocean Creek and Ocean Point Links).  The tennis facilities are second to none in the area.
