The real estate market in Matthews North Carolina always seems to be a popular choice for families relocating into the Charlotte area.  There are many different factors that drive the growth. The proximity to Charlotte allows for a relatively short commute in todays age of about 30 minutes.  The biggest draw for Matthews is the vibrant community and strong schools.  A great example of this will be taking place over Labor Day weekend as it kicks off the "Matthews Alive" festival.  This is one of the Southeast's largest festivals and parades.
