Baby Boomers and Las Vegas

Las Vegas. Who doesn’t know about it. Entertainment, gambling, resorts, show girls. These are the thing that most people know Las Vegas by. But what most don’t know is how baby boomer are starting to notice that it might be a great place to relocate and wine down there career and possible retire. We have all heard about people retiring in Florida and Phoenix. But that was the last generation. Baby Boomers have different needs, have a different outlook on how they want to spend their free time if and when they retire. Notice the word "if", that’s right many baby boomer never plan to retire, many plan to work part time or go back and forth between periods of time off and periods of work. Check out the numbers.

Active adult communities are the neighborhoods of choice for the baby boomer. As they become seniors they want to be around their peers and to be able to socialize, play and entertain.
