Officers Club Now Becomes The Benning Club

The officers club has now become the Benning Club and is open to all the enlisted men and their families. Their is a nominal monthly charge to be a member and a launch party is scheduled for January 26th to kick off a membership drive.

I concur with Joh Gibbs. We have hurt ourselves by fraternization between the enlisted and officer ranks. There are other venues for socializing.

It is sad that a wonderful old club has been relegated to just another club. Ft. Benning always had great clubs for the EM. NCO's and Officers. Fortunately, the Air Force has been able to maintain their Officers, NCO and EM Clubs at Randolph AFB, Texas. I am sure that y they will be forced into capitulation in the near future.
