IRONHORSE COUNTRY CLUB HOMES REPRESENT WONDERFUL VALUE IN PALM BEACH GARDENS

The prices of homes in Palm Beach Gardens' Ironhorse Country Club continue to come down,  but the rate of decline is less than that of homes throughout Palm Beach County indicating a possible bottoming of prices in the community.

Looking at home prices in Ironhorse from January 2008 through July 15, 2008 , we find prices declined about 7 per cent throughout the community when compared with the same period in 2007.  The number of sales however have increased as buyers recognize great values available in this small and intimate country club community. 

Between January 1 and July 15, 2007 five homes sold in Ironhorse at an average dollars per square foot of $189.  Most of these homes were under 3000 square feet with just one over 4500 square feet.  Between January 1 and July 15, 2008 seven homes sold in Ironhorse at an average dollars per square foot of $177, representing a seven percent decline in prices.  Throughout Palm Beach County home prices declined 12 percent comparing sales for the first half of 2008 with the first half of 2007.

Ironhorse Country Club is a small and friendly community of just 324 homes surrounding a championship Arthur Hills Golf Course and bordering the peaceful Loxahatchee Nature Preserve.  The club has all of the amenities of larger facilities, but maintains a more intimate community ambiance.  All residents at Ironhorse are social members of the club, which includes tennis, swimming pool, fitness center, club dining facilities and social activities.  Golf memberships are separate and require additional fees.

Currently there are 24 homes on the market in Ironhorse ranging from under 2000 square feet to more than 7000 square feet and priced from $350,000 to $2 million.  It is an excellent time to buy a home in Ironhorse.
