Building a New Home in Florida

Building a new home can be a very stressful process.  The level of your involvement depends on the type of program you choose.  There are many home builders that will finance the construction of your new home.  However, if you are looking to build a custom home, most builders will require that you supply the funds.  You will need a lender that provides the services of a construction loan.  Wayne Morgan at Peoples First Mortgage has been very helpful to me in the past.  Unfortunately, I met him through a Mortgage Broker which  cost me a great deal of money.  If you are looking for a Construction Loan Wayne should be able to help.  He does deal with other types of Mortgages as well.  But, this page is dedicated to building a new home.

When looking for a builder, you will want to make your selection very carefully.  You can search the BANCF Membership Directory to do your homework on potential builders.
