Customer Support Programmer

Job Description: The Customer Support Programmer will assist our clients in resolving outstanding issues as well as guide clients through our various products when called upon.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and redirecting callers to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Moderating the Customer Support Forums, answering emails, as well as providing support over the phone.
  • Resolving bugs with our core products which include both our server and client side solutions.
  • Moving clients’ websites to different domains and/or servers.

Must have:

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • A background in web solutions both server and client side
  • A firm understanding of development in an Object-Oriented environment
  • Experience with interpretive languages (preferably experience with PHP and JavaScript)
  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Solid HTML knowledge
  • Experience with SQL database technologies (preferably MySQL)
  • A willingness to relocate. This is an "on-site" employee position

We like it if you have:

  • Experience with the Linux CLI
  • Experience with Client Email Applications such as Outlook and Thunderbird
  • Experience with such web browsers as Internet Explorer and Firefox
  • Developed applications in or are familiar with jQuery
  • Experience with CSS
