Marketing/Writing & SEM positions:

Are you a talented writer with experience in online marketing, creative writing, or technical writing? Have you ever run an effective online marketing campaign?

We're looking for multiple marketing professionals to work with our dynamic web team in the production of successful online marketing campaigns, including social media & search engine optimization. These are full time, in-house positions with benefits.

Each position requires strong researching skills, creativity, excellent editing skills, and the ability to multitask. Organizational skills are a must. Most communication with clients and colleagues is done by email (though the job is in-house), so your communication style must be direct, professional and unambiguous.

Position Requirements:

• Experience navigating social media
• The ability to self-edit
• An extremely lucid communication and writing style
• Comfortable working with computers and learning new technology
• Self-motivation and self-direction
• Experience using search engines and Firefox/Internet Explorer
• Strong problem solving and time management skills
• The ability to learn quickly and remember details
• A willingness to live in Nanaimo, as the position will be "on-site"

Preferred Qualifications:

• A background in search engine optimization and internet marketing
• Knowledge of basic HTML
