Every web page needs content - discuss how to write engaging, compelling content that will impress your visitors and make your web pages stand out in the crowd.

  1. Sticky Thread Sticky: Common Writing Mistakes that make you Look Stupid

Here are some tips for non-writers. These are the most common errors that PEOPLE LIKE YOU are making every day. They drive many people crazy - I don't know whether anybody ever left a realtor's web site because of any of them, but I know that (Industry plug!) I wouldn't hire any professional who's...

  1. Do you capitalize "real estate"?

I've noticed that capitalizing the term "real estate" seems to be common practice among agents, e.g. "I work in Real Estate." I was curious if this is done for a reason, as it isn't a term that would normally be capitalized. Thank you kindly :)

  2. Writing about the places around the property

I see many real estate websites which represent the houses and full of information and photos/videos of real estate, but not many of the websites tells the visitor about surrounding activities. I think writing about restaurants, clubs, parks, schools, beaches, viewpoints, shops/malls and...

  3. Building out pages on website

I am researching some of the top ranking sites in my area, and noticed that most of them have 15k-50k web pages for their site. If you've never done so, you can go to Yahoo and type in link:domainname.com and it will show the number of inbound links and total pages on the site. Is there any...

  5. Good SEO?

I think this is where this post goes. My question is, let's say your writing a community profile page, and your keywords are Eagle Bluff Homes and Eagle Bluff real estate. Is it a good SEO practice to put those keywords in your footer since thats what the page is about? Thanks

I'm always reading tips on http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/ - and today's tip was especially helpful. Do you know the difference between "then" and "than?" "Then" has an element of time. For example, it can mean "next" or "at that time": • We ate, and then we went to the movies. • Movies...

I just received an email from another writer asking me how I handle writing about places that are sketchy or just plain sad. 20. Post Articles, Blog or Create Pages?

I am not sure I understand exactly what the best thing to do with my articles is. Do I submit them to numerous article sites? Do I submit the same article to as many sites as I can? Do I create another page on my site? Do I post it as a blog? Or, can I do all of the above?
