- I have two University degrees and ten years of experience in Public Relations and Marketing prior to getting into the real estate business. My family and I moved from Toronto (big city) to Port Hope Ontario (small town) after beginning to feel burnt out and stressed all the time - we haven't regretted the decision for even one moment. I love Toronto, I spent 35 years there, but for me it was time for a change - in atmosphere, pace, activities, lifestyle and Port Hope and Northumberland offers everything my wife Christine and I were looking for - so selling people on the idea of moving here is a true joy for the both of us.
