Alexa - site info

Does anyone know about updating your site info at Alexa?? I filled out all of their forms for updating my sites information, but have not seen any results - its been a month now. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else had similar problems? Thanks

I've seen it take that long before with "Contact information".

However, the "Update Thumbnail Image" is usually pretty quick.

It may take up to two months after you complete the form to see any modification.

However, you can greatly reduce the time if you use the info.txt file and upload it to your site.

I have personally seen this modified within a few days.

I had to do the .txt to get them to update. I waited almost 3 months before I gave up. Does anyone really take the numbers from alexa seriously? Are they a factor anywhere else on the web, say in search engines or anything?

i concuf Jeff, I don't really know anyone either. I got more traffic from the MSN beta when it first came out and was really still in beta mode.
