    Question Google Question

Question: Lets say I live in Washington and type in minneapolis real estate to search for properties. Would my search results be differnet from which state or location that I'm located in. Reason being, I was talking to google a couple weeks ago about Google Advertising that I put on my site www.igotrealestate.com . They mentioned that my IP was coming from Virgina and I was questioning my ads since I'm located in Minneapolis. They said the ads are served up based on user IP location...does that mean search results do the same.. Anybody know
Edina is home to the first indoor mall. Search Edina Realty to find your new home.

Yes your search results are based off of different datacenters. Depending on which DC serves your area would determine the results you would see.

Example If you and I pulled up results for the same phrase my datacenter would show or could show different results then you do if we are on 2 different DCs

    Jeff,
Typically search results do vary from each data center.
However, the difference is minor--maybe a couple of positions.
