    Default Questionable Link Strategy Question

I am usually the slow and lazy type when it comes to link exchanges. But it seems that I among the first to jumpon a link request that invites controversy or ends up being on the shady side .... so, little naive me is trying to be more careful and better informed.

I received the below email requesting a link to what seems to be a popular agent site and in return they will link from a what seems to be a lesser site. Will I be getting as much benefit as I give to them? Is this an acceptable, honest, fair, reasonable etc. link request from them?

    TIA

Url's obfuscated to protect the guilty or inocent.

"Quote" -->After looking at your www.satxproperty-sp.com. website, I would like to exchange links with you. To make this as easy as possible for you, I have already added a link to your site on my website and would appreciate you adding links to my site in return.

The listing is in the Texas category at this page:

Personally, I would not trade link with this site. Somewhere along the line I picked up the idea that it is best to stay away from links pages that end with something like this:

    Ted Amenta
    Breckenridge Real Estate Broker
