I have some for you too.
brokerpriceopinion.com ,Premiere Real Estate,bpo.com, before you sign up though, I highly suggest you do some research on these companies. Other then that the best help I can give you is to use the search function on this site and also goggle.

I've never even heard of BPO's; no one ever talks about them at my office. Just signed up at Clearcapital and am looking forward to doing them.

I sell Houston homes and write at this blog dedicated to Real Estate Technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.

The BPO is a cheaper alternative to appraisal. The requests for BPOs usually generated by the REO agents or banks, as well as the investors who specialize in "short sale".
It's a great thing to do, especially when you have spare time between the clients.
Clear Capital is a right place to start. They are very trustworthy and fair. But the only problem with them, they throw a BPO request to several agents in the area simultaneously, so 9 times out of 10 it gets to the one who has somebody in the office in front of the computer.
I invested in to a Palm Treo to get around this problem, subscribed to Sprint's fast internet, so I thought it would take me few seconds to accept the BPO….
But guess what, it is still not fast enough...
Every time when you think you discovered some new money making idea, you find a bunch of people already there fighting for the spot…
